High humidity and epilepsy

Hi, I’m travelling with two children in early August.

I’m aware of the incredibly (frankly awful) humidity, I’ve spoken to several friends from Japan who live in England, and friends from England who moved to Japan for some advice around how to keep cool in the heat. But something that’s a little trickier, is that I’m epileptic.

Epilepsy is really tricky sometimes because it affects everyone differently, but I’m aware that when I come out of the bath/shower, I can often feel quite light headed. I was wondering if anyone with epilepsy has suggestions around dealing with the condition with high humidity? I’ll probably put this in an epilepsy sub too, but I wanted to also throw this question out:

If you have any general tips for the high heat and humidity, please let me know!

* Have an early morning out door plan
* Have an indoor activity plan (not arcades!)
* Grapefruit drinks
* Parasol and fans
* “You’ll need to invest in a wardrobe that isn’t just black”

Anything else?
