For recent travellers is Kyoto really that crowded these days? I’ve seen videos of packed crowds at Fushimi Inari and Higashiyama and curious if that is reflective of what is really happening?
I’ve been to Kyoto a few times, but my last visit there would be around 2017 as I skip it these days. I recall it being busy but not packed like people are suggesting now.
