What would you consider the best tag feud in New Japan?

Now we’ve talked about the tag division on many occasions. And for the junior tag it’s in a good place with the War Dogs, Jet Setters, TMDK,LIJ, Catch 2/2. That is a strong division compared to the heavy tag which has been relegated to the same 4 teams and not much interesting stories in them.

Now it got me thinking what is the best tag feud we’ve had in New Japan.

Junior Tag: Easily War Dogs vs Catch 2/2. Even thought at the end of it, they overdid it by having 4 matches in their feud so close together. But when it started to how it progressed they did a excellent job in the feud from the storytelling to the in ring work. You can see the developments of all 4 guys in the feud.

Heavy Tag: Dangerous Tekkers(Taichi & ZSJ) vs Golden Aces(Ibushi & President Tana). Is it sad that it took a pandemic for us to have a awesome heavy tag feud like this. They only had 2 matches but the build up and story was excellent. This was such a Diamond in the rough at the time during 2020 but they had this feud and it showed the potential of what the tag division can be.
