hi all, have been digging deep into research and travel websites, and just have a few questions:
* Sim Card or Pocket WIFI? would be using it for maps, messages, and things like Instagram.
* its cheaper for me to return fly from the UK to Tokyo, instead of one flight being from Osaka. what is the best train to and from Tokyo to Osaka/Kyoto, and where I can I purchase that?
* what are your thoughts on the hotel branch ‘APA’. I have glanced over TripAdvisor. \[APA have been offering the best prices for a solid hotel room\].
* If my return flight is 6am from either Narita or Haneda (probably Narita), what is the best way to get there in time?
* I’ve seen a lot of people saying to bring extra luggage as I will buy a lot. in regards to the passport and tax free shopping, do I need to declare all of this shopping at customs when I arrive home?
* for the transport in Tokyo, is a SUICA card better or simply a 3 day metro pass?
* how does the transport work overall, do I purchase tickets online? do I pay cash at the office in the station?
* Best way to do it financially? I typically use Monzo abroad, due to there exchange rates, but research tells me its cash heavy. should I get all of my cash before hand, or can I use my Monzo at an ATM at somewhere like 7/11, and if so, are they good exchange rates? also is Monzo good to use at somewhere which accepts card?
