I will be in Okinawa for a week in mid July and was hoping to get some advice! Didn’t find much in the Wiki unfortunately.
I will be renting a car so I’m hoping to visit as many places as possible. I am also planning to visit / stay on the outer islands like Kerama Islands.
– What is the best area to stay at if I want to explore the main island over 4 days? Is it worth it to stay somewhere in the middle so that I don’t have to drive from south to north? Or is it better to book different accommodations closer to Naha & Nago?
– What islands would you recommend to visit if I have 2 days or so? I am planning to do some water activities like kayaking or snorkeling.
– Any other recommendations? Eg nice boutique shop areas/ food / activities / must do’s
