Query about the working holiday visa UK?

Hey all, I’m applying for the working holiday visa and have an appointment at the japanese embassy tomorrow. I was wondering with the bank statement document, do I need to print off the 3 months prior or do I need a statement up to todays date? Can’t seem to find a way to print off this months statement from the bank.

Also I’m assuming the e ticket receipt I got from British airways in email is enough for proof of to and return tickets?

Thanks

  1. I had the exact same situation as you, all I could produce is a bank statement of 3 months prior as well as an overview of my current savings, with no additional info. strangely enough they accepted the overview with just my current funds, and they said the one from 3 months prior isn’t up to date enough. I know it usually says everywhere that they wanna see funds going in and out, but in my case they didn’t. so if you can’t produce a statement that’s up to date, see if the bank gives you a way to print out your current funds with a date and your name on it somehow and then bring both of those, just in case.
and also yes, a printout of the receipt of your ticket is enough proof.

  2. I did not even have a ticket when I applied, I just had enough money. So for UK, 2500 you do not need tickets.

Note in your document, you should focus on the holiday aspect and not on the working aspect.
