A long time ago, I read a beautiful, supposedly Japanese poem in a graphic novel. The English translation goes like this:
“*I am an empty dream,*
*like snow left on the mountains in* *summer.*
*I feel my warm blood moving inside me,*
*and I am reminded that I’m living.*
*My soul will have its home,*
*in the rising of the sun.*
*If you feel sad,*
*look at the dawn with all of its beauty.*
*You will find me…*
*there.*”
Till date I have never found an original source of this poem. I wanted to check if someone knows of this poem, and if there are other poems by the same author.
