Will be in Kyoto May 29 – June 3, which is Wednesday thru Monday. I wanted one day for a day trip to Nara. I was considering either wed or thurs for Nara, considering it’s a week day and hopefully it won’t be as busy as a weekend day? But then I thought, maybe stick around Kyoto during the weekdays assuming the weekends would be packed?
Though if I’ve come to learn anything about Japan since living here, it’s people-y always, everywhere lol.
Any recommendations? My plan currently is transit from Lake Kawaguchi to Kyoto on the 29th, then transit to Nara, since we won’t be in Kyoto early enough in the day to beat the crowds.
