As some of you saw I was searching for a proper lebanese shawarma in Tokyo and a few suggestions were provided.
I called and confirmed that Salam in Shibuya doesnt make a proper one
I also went to Byblos and they did not make a proper shawarma (no garlic sauce, french fries or pickled turnip – pic in comments)
Thus unfortunately there is no authentic lebanese shawarma in Tokyo and likely Japan.
If anyone wants to start a restaurant with send a DM as my one is still better than any kebab
