I (23/F) will be travelling to Tokyo for 2 weeks in August. I was supposed to go with someone, but things happened and now I will be going solo.
Was just wondering if these places are suitable for solo travellers, cuz I wanna make the most of my trip and have a lot of fun since I would be doing University attachment from 8-5 on weekdays. At most I could go to 3 of the ones I listed here:
- DisneySea – high priority on my list, but I'm not sure if I will enjoy going on rides alone
- Joypolis – looks really fun but I see that it's mostly advertised as a family friendly attraction
- Harry Potter Studio Tour – I've been to the London Studio Tour 10 years ago, so I'm not sure if this will be worth the visit, even more so as a solo traveller
- Tokyo Dome – Quite near to the place I'm staying
- Immersive Fort Tokyo – New attraction, not many reviews yet, but I'd love some input
- Yomiuriland – Not the highest on my list, would go if there is time (and money lol) but if it's more suitable for solo travellers, then I will list it higher
Also any recommendations for solo travellers in Tokyo? Any nightlife suggestions (not bars or hookers, I mean attractions!)
p/s: I recently ended a beautiful long term relationship so I'd really want a meaningful trip to take my mind of things.
