I have been using Furusato Nozei ふるさと納税 for the last two years and got my resident tax slip today, so I will be starting Furusato for this year from here on out (I always wait to confirm last year's payment). I had been only company-employed during this period and had been using ワンストップ.
Since Furusato is just paying your resident tax for next year early in a lump sum payment, I used to just use my 年収 in the online calculators to get my max limit (to be safe, I always used less than the max).
But starting this year, I have also started working as a 個人事業, so I cannot use ワンストップ and have to file for Furusato returns along with applying for e-Tax next year.
The thing I am not clear about is the calculation of my annual income. My annual income from my main job is around 1000万, and my 個人事業 will bring me 530万.
Am I correct to assume that I can add the above to 1530万 and use this to calculate my Furusato limit?
Sorry if a similar question has been asked already; I searched and did not find anything similar.
