My family (wife + myself + 2 college age boys) will be travelling to Japan and staying near Tokyo Station for a low key vacation. We usually go to Kichijoji, however, it's been 10+ years since we've visited Japan. We are planning day trips to Shinjuku, Ginza, Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Shibuya, and others, but we haven't spent time around Tokyo Station before. We're looking for recommendations for good places to shop and eat if you have any. We're hoping to enjoy local bakeries, ramen, yakitori, thrift stores, flea markets and anything else that is unique or interesting for those days we stay close to the hotel (Karaksa Colors Yaesu).
