So I just moved to Japan recently. My salary is 250,000 Yen a month. I have not gotten my first check yet. What deductions from that 250k should I expect? I know there's the pension plan (japanese social security) as well as the health care coverage. Is there anything else? Also, what is this I have heard about taxes increasing significantly after 1 year? Will my salary be viable next year?
