Does anyone have a comprehensive list of animal rescues in Japan?
And more importantly does anyone know of rescues that care for animals such as reptiles, amphibians etc.
I know of a (non native) turtle that desperately needs to be re-homed. Other than ARK I don’t know of any nor do I think any will take a turtle.
I’m not thinking there’s any but I gotta try for this little guy.

I would reach out to ARK, you can do so in English or Japanese. If they aren’t able to take him they will probably know who can.

Where is the turtle, and what kind is it? I may know a responsible person who can house it.
Please update us if you’re able to re-home the turtle. I’m also looking to re-home a red-eared slider and have been unsuccessful thus far. I’ll post again if I find a place that will accept them.
