1. [Here’s](https://shopping.maiko.ne.jp/item.php?id=78) the main site. Looks like a nice green tea. 75yen per 5 gram bag is kinda expensive but not the most expensive I’ve ever had.

2. Best way to tell is to open it up and brew it. Good Sencha should be a light but vibrant spring green with a fresh grassy fragrance. Make sure you cool the water a bit first (I usually pour boiling water into a cold mug or glass measuring cup first to before adding it to a tea pot). If the water is too hot it will make the tea taste astringent.

3. I’d guess that r/tea would be a great place to ask. That sub collectively knows everything about tea.
