I been living in Japan for almost two years now and I received a myNumber card last November so I can use Transfer-Wise account to use as a debit card and to send money home to pay-back my loans. I had my visa renewed in February and received a new Zai-Ryu card in February this year. But my myNumber card has the date of my old zai-Ryu card on it ( which was March 3rd 2024) it’s currently June and I didn’t have any issues using myNumber card for anything until yesterday I got an email from Transfer-wise saying my ID documents were outdated.
This really confused me since I thought the Mynumber card is the equivalency to a SSN and even though it had my old visa information on my card I didn’t have expect to have any problems after since it’s been months since that time passed and I had no issues until recently.
I don’t know if their is a quick method to Renew a myNumber card, if possible I need it done less then a month. When I got myNumber card originally it took 2-3 months to get everything processed I really hope it’s not the same case getting it renewed with my current visa information if I have to.
I really appreciate any help on this process if anyone has any experience please let me know.
