  1. Joke candidates and two front runners who seem more interested in national politics than running Tokyo.
No stand-out candidate to vote for.

  2. I mean she’s not my type but the stripper sure knew how to sell what she had.

  3. It doesn’t matter that they are all puppets of this puppet government, wasting taxpayer money. Unfortunately, democracy in Japan has become rather meaningless, as most locals seem apathetic towards politics and make little effort to participate or enact meaningful change. At this point, it might be better for the US to simply appoint officials, restructure over half the government, and then lower taxes across the board by 50%. At least then, we could all benefit from it.

  5. Hey – AI Mayor has serious posters and is actually putting in the effort. If I could vote I’d vote for him.

  6. As a resident of Kanagawa, color me unsurprised at the continuing hilarious political antics of our populous next door neighbor. Just keep it on your side of the Tama, please.

  7. 😂 this has been the running joke for a loooong time now this isn’t news

  8. I remember when Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) ran for mayor of San Francisco back in the day… his slogan was there’s always room for jello… he finished fourth
