Brining anti-depressants into Japan. Need some help.

I’m going to be in Japan for 16 days and then I’m going to Korea for 6 days. I’ve read that I can bring up to a one month supply of my medication (Escitalopram) but for anything beyond that I need to fill out a Yunyu Kakunin-sho and present it to customs.

My medication is given to me in a 90 day supply bottle and I’d prefer to bring in more than a one month supply just for peace of mind since I’ll be gone for 22 days.

Does anyone have experience with this form and bringing in more than a months supply? Or should I have my doctor right me a 30 day prescription and just take that?

Also would they really know if I got a bottle that says it’s 30 pills and I put some extra in there? Maybe that’s risky/shitty if me but I’m just a bit nervous about all of this.
