Im planning on purchasing 2x Zipair tickets to Narita mid December-early January. I wasn't able to buy the tickets 2 weeks ago, and now the prices have gone up by over $200. Would you guys advise that I just buy the tickets right now? Also, Google tells me that the tickets would be cheaper purchased separately (outbound/inbound) instead of together as round trip. Just curious if anyone happens to know why!
I also wanted to ask what the second best payment method is in Japan after credit card! Some options I have are: my Japanese bank account, bofa debit card, withdraw cash from debit and convert into yen at airport, load money into my icoca card, etc.
My only concern with my yen in my Japanese bank account is that I feel like with yen being so low rn, it's more worth for me to convert my USD to yen and use that.
I'd appreciate any advice or tips anyone has for me 🙂 It's my first trip alone since I usually go back to Japan with my family.
