Hello! Me (38) and my gf (40) will be going to Japan in mid-November this year. We already finished choosing the places we would like to visit in Tokyo. She's a first timer in Japan and I've been twice before. We will do about 4-5 daytrips as well to Nikko, Disney Sea, Kamakura-Enoshima and somewhere near Mt Fuji TBD.
We are not sure if the following itinerary is feasible without rushing and also have doubts about the order of activities and the days they have been divided, we need some guidance and feedback from more experienced people so that is why we come here! Hopefully somebody can guide us. Itinerary is as follows:
Day 1
• Morning Meiji Jingu Shrine & Yoyogi Park during the morning
• Takeshita Dori St for about one hour
• Shimokitazawa, same, we expect to be here for around 1 hour
• Shibuya Sky / Scramble (we know we have to book tickets in advance for Shibuya Sky, any other suggestions is much appreciated)
• Omoide Yokocho to end the day, eat and drink something there
Day 2
• Imperial Palace
• Azabudai Hills (just to take a small look before getting into Teamlab)
• Teamlab Borderless
• Odaiba (from Shimbashi)
Day 3
• Nezu Jinja Shrine
• Tokyo National Musem
• Sensō-ji (I know this will be crowded in the afternoon so we might have a late lunch and wait for this to empty a bit)
• Golden Gai
If it is too packed and would need to be rushed we can extend it to 4 days and take it easier, but would rather keep it at 3 if possible. We plan to visit Shinjuku Gyoen the morning of our departure from Tokyo btw so that's why it's not included in this itinerary. We plan to have lunch on the go with previously bought combini items that is why lunch breaks are not specified.
Would you rearrange anything or move something from one day to another? Something redundant? I was confused about where to put Shimokitazawa. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks in advance and looking forward to our trip this fall.
