25F from USA (Atlanta) have a job offer for 6.5 million yen/year (40k USD) before taxes. Trying to figure out if this is a comfortable salary for Okinawa as a single person. Not military so would be living off base.They are willing to also pay half of my housing up to $500 USD/month and all utilities. I make about 80k in the US- I am willing to take a pay cut for the experience but don’t want to be struggling and want to be able to save a little each month at least. Thanks!!
