Hello! I just arrived in Japan on a Dependent Visa and I want to apply for permission to engage in activities other than those permitted by status of residence, to be able to work up to 28 hours a week (https://www.moj.go.jp/isa/applications/procedures/16-8.html?hl=en).
I went to the Regional Immigration Services Bureau in Minato-ku and submitted my application, and I believe it takes 2 weeks to 2 months. The worker there told me there was another office I could submit it, where I could get immediate approval, but I can't remember the location he mentioned.
I ended up needing the work permission earlier than expected, so I wanted to ask if anyone here happens to know the immigration office that is able to provide immediate approval?
