Succession tax – Life insurance

Hello all,

I have a question regarding succession tax, for a case which I don't remember have heard much here (please forgive me if the question has already been answered…).

Basically my grand mother is currently spending her last days in this world, and I am about to inherit of her life insurance they have subscribed the year of my birth, which is a bit less than 100K euros. This amount is not taxable under the French succession laws.

Now, my parents are still alive, and I have two sisters, all are living in France.
My father will inherit everything from his parents, except this life insurance whom I am the sole receiver. My sisters will not be receiving anything during this succession (they will receive later, under donations from my parents and many years later when they will also pass away to compensate).

I am wondering if this amount is taxable under Japanese succession laws (I assume yes) and if yes, how the calculation of the number of receivers works in this particular case.
