I changed dormitories for the new semester, and booked with a management company my college recommended. They told me from the beginning that I’d be receiving a place in one of their three dorms, all of which seemed nice despite being a bit further out of the centre so I didn’t give it much further thought. Two of the three they have were close to Adachi which I mentally prepared myself for and was happy with since I’ve lived there before and like it, but the 1 in 3 chance happened and I got my final dorm room assigned in the one that’s completely elsewhere. It is between Setagaya and Komae, close to the Kinuta Park. Now I’ve only been to Setagaya once on a night out but not at all to the area where the dorm will be. Now my question to those who know it is, how is it there? Is it a nice place with activities and a bit of life or did I land myself in a kip? I’d go and check it out myself but I’m currently on vacation abroad and therefore need some preparation on what awaits me.
