So, recently I was enquiring about Japanese long term courses in various language school and I pretty much made my mind to go for GenkiJACS Nagoya long term course. Tbh cost was never an issue and even I had enough savings and backing that I won't have to do part-time work.
Today I got this reply from GenkiJACS: "I am very sorry about this, but unfortunately, we are not authorized by the Japanese immigration to offer support for visa applications from India (which is among of the difficult countries for visas in Japan unfortunately) at the moment as we are still a young school in the eyes of Japanese Immigration, so our visa supporting rights are limited.
However, may we ask if you happen to be a Japanese visa holder? If you already have a Japanese visa or valid stay permit in Japan, just send us a copy, and we'll be happy to have you study with us!
If you don't have the above mentioned visa or permit, unfortunately studying with us in-person would not be possible at this point. We are sorry."
I wasn't expecting such reply from GenkiJACS, and I usually thought it's not so difficult for Indians to get a student visa. Anyone have any thoughts on this or it's a hard no for Indians to study in Japanese language school?
