Hi there, my family and I are tourists from the US – we went into the Ginza Uniqlo and split our separate ways to find clothes we liked, and I noticed multiple older men (in their 60/70s) following me on every floor I went and taking videos of me.
I notified staff, but they couldn’t really do much as he would keep moving and there are multiple floors.
I noticed multiple eyes from people and one even watching my family from behind an isle as we paid for our clothes.
I didn’t notify my parents, which could be a mistake, but I didn’t want to raise alarm.
We left immediately and my parents went shopping at other stores as we went straight home.
Is there any likelihood I’ve been followed to my hotel? We took a train and made sure nobody followed us but my younger brother (13) and I are still very uneasy from this experience.
At the very least, wanted to give a heads up that these people exist at the store. They all seemed in the later middle ages – one Japanese man who walks very stiffly with a black iPhone case, around 6’0-6’2, and a thinning/baldish man around 5’11. The 5’11 was wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey – obviously if he’s seen again this is subject to change – and the 6’0-6’2 man dressed somewhat tidily, with an old grey polo with thin stripes and black slacks. And a fanny pack.
