Hi everyone, Today I did my first grocery shopping and I think I'm doing it the wrong way. Googling I saw that 90% of Japanese people are lactose intolerant, so why can't find lactose-free products?
I was in the milk department and saw 20 different brands of milk but not a single lactose-free one. I don't mean soy milk or other vegan variants, but low-lactose cow's milk.
I also saw that they usually cook the meat with lard cubes, where can you get them? In the supermarkets I went to when I asked they showed me they only had butter.
I would also like to know where I can find bio products, such as soap, fluoride-free toothpaste, and things like that (not necessarily dedicated stores that usually cost much more).
Thank you all in advance for your help!
EDIT: I found the milk, it’s called アカディ
