Hey, going to Japan for 7 days the last week in August. I know it will be hot so I chose Nikko as a destination for 2 days where the weather will be a little cooler. Departing out of Tokyo. I would like to find one starting destination for 2 days that will have cooler weather and be less than a 3 hour train ride from Nikko and Tokyo. Any suggestions? Preferably countryside/nature. I'm flying in from the Phillipines so I can go to any airport in Japan to start. Thanks!
