My mum is European. Her favourite thing is sitting at those cafés with the tables out on the street so she can people watch and feel a part of the hustle and bustle. I haven't really seen much of that in Japan. Everything's indoors. I guess the extreme weather doesn't help. However, when my mum visits me, I want to appeal to her. Are there any places in Japan that have this communal feeling that I can take her to? Or should I just take her to S Korea. It's well known for its cafés.
Thanks.
