This happens every time I tell people I live in Osaka:
あ、大阪に住んでいたんですね！
大阪で好きな食べ物はありましたか？
It seems the only correct answer to this is takoyaki. Maybe okonomiyaki. Is this just a pointless question? If I say anything else, like shabushabu, kushikatsu, whatever, I am told that is "just" Japanese food. As if they only eat takoyaki in Osaka… lol
Anyone got a weird "Osaka" food that I can answer with that isn't takoyaki/okonomiyaki?
