Can a 30 yo apply for a japanse language school and get a student visa ?

Hello,

I'm 30 yo, I want to learn Japanese in japan at a language school, do I need a sponsor for that ?

I already got enough money to cover the expenses for 2 years, ( I also intend to work and maybe switch my visa status if I like it enough )

I hold a master degree in my country and a 5 year work experience ( as a banker ).
