Leo Palaces deserve some love and respect!
They’re cheap, self-contained, quiet, private, clean, and very convenient! You can easily rent them short term too!
I live about thirty minutes from the centre of Tokyo in an apartment that’s low-cost and mine alone. In what other big city do you get such value and comfort? In comparable cities like New York or London, you’d be paying five times what I pay for my lovely little Leo Palace, and you’d probably be in a filthy house share too.
To those who bitch about them, what’s your alternative?
(Don’t get me started on Union Monthlys though…)
