ADHD clinic in Kyoto

Hi all,

I would like to try medication for ADHD due to struggles with life and work, I have avoided this as an option and try to ‘tough’ it out most of my life but after speaking to some friends in a similar situation i think this option is something I’d like to explore.

I live in the countryside (near Shiga / Fukui) so there’s not much in my area but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations / experiences with any clinics in Kyoto area (it’s commutable)

I would ideally like to try Concerta opposed to Strattera (based on a lot of research and speaking to friends who have tried both) but have had mixed info from a bunch of people on how hard / easy it is to obtain, so I’d like to find a clinic that offers that service

Also my Japanese is quite basic so if there are any that have some English ability I’d be glad to hear from you.

I have not been diagnosed, and based on mixed threads I have read you may have to come back multiple times to the hospital to complete multiple tests / blood work etc but also have herd from some people they got diagnosed within like an hour of meeting the doc… if anyone has experience please share.
