I’m applying for an apartment and I need to fax the paperwork to the company. The only fax machine I have access to at work can only do one page at a time. Using this machine to fax the paperwork will take about an hour.
So, is there any place that has public fax machines? Like an office supply store or something?
(I can also email the paperwork, but it says only emails of under 18 mb can be delivered. I’m assuming that means megabits not megabytes.)
Edit: I never realized that the copy machines at convenience stores are also fax machines. I’ll definitely try that tomorrow.

How can you live in Japan and not have a fax machine? Are you so intent on disrupting the wa? This is why Japanese hate gaijin.
You can fax from pretty much any convenience store.

Anyway, those big copy-looking machines in every store will also do fax. Just go to one and follow instructions.
Most likely they will have auto-feeders for your stack of papers, too.
and no, that means 18MiB
I have never heard of anyone, Japan or elsewhere, refer to file size in megabits and not megabytes. I’d assume it’s megabytes.
