Murphy’s Laws

Is there an equivalent idiom or proverb in Japanese for the adage "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong"? Like an equivalent 四字熟語 (よじじゅくご) or 諺 (ことわざ). And is Murphy's Law called another way in Japanese or just literally "マーフィーの法則"?
