How is everyone enjoying the USD/JPY ?

2. I get paid in dollars

3. Part of my salary is in RSUs that are in dollars.

   Losing money on the RSUs because the stock price is down. Gaining yen because the dollar is up to the yen. Overall it’s a wash.

   So yeah otherwise pretty much anything from abroad is expensive and it’s not great! I hope we get back to some reasonable levels soon…

6. Going to Hawaii next month so will definitely hit the wallet lol.

8. Sad but i can’t see this being any good for the us either. No one will buy American and start competitors to us companies. Americans lose their job.

   Japan it companies are currently leaving AWS in mass due to rising cost.

9. Get pay in jpy buy stuff in jpy . Mostly all the same.

   Now , if I try to get new iPhone , then it will be awful

10. Well i get paid in USD for GI bill so it’s a lot easier

11. I don’t buy anything in USD, so it hasn’t effected me very much

12. If by “enjoy” you mean waking up in a cold sweat at 3:30AM looking at the USD/JPY on my phone to see if things have gotten any worse, then yeah, I am enjoying it very much.

16. It’s been pretty awesome watching the climb.

    Been converting to yen every time it reaches a new high

17. I sold my house and converted EUR -> YEN, felt pretty good

18. Good thing Japan is entirely self sufficient and doesn’t need to import anything.

20. I get paid in USD, I bought some electronics (video card, Quest 2) in Japan for change since they were actually cheaper here.
