Career prospects for our bilingual, bicultural daughter

Our daughter is attending an international high school here in Singapore. Her mother is Japanese and I am American. We lived in Japan for many years and our daughter has native fluency in English and Japanese.

She is thinking about where to apply to college, focusing on the U.S., Australia and English-language undergraduate programs in Japan such as at Keio and Waseda.

Her ultimate goal (at this point) is to work and live in Japan after she finishes her education, probably for a western company, where she believes the work culture would likely be a better fit and compensation and opportunities for career advancement superior as well for someone in her situation.

Would be grateful if people here with more experience with these sorts of questions would share your knowledge and experience so we can help point our daughter in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.
