Can I ride “Special Rapid” with Suica?

Traveling from Osaka Umeda to Kyoto station tommorow, Google suggests taking Tokaido Sanyo Line (Special Rapid). Can I just tap my SUICA and go? Or do I have to buy additional tickets?
