Book Recommendations

Hi all! I am going ending my second year of Japanese study at university in America and I am going to be studying abroad for a year in Tokyo! My instructor of my current class always plays a Japanese song everyday we come in (she switches it for every unit) and this unit’s song is 夜に駆ける(yoru ni kakeru/racing into the night). I actually knew this song and some possible interpretations of it-one being a telling of “The Seduction of Thanatos”. This inspired me to read the actual story (in English). I loved the story, and I want to find a book with short stories of this nature. Any recommendations anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
