Hi everyone! I'm posting this on behalf of my boyfriend, who is getting ready to do a summer exchange at the Doshisha Imadegawa campus. We are having a hard time finding more info on housing. He's down to stay in a dorm, but would prefer to live in a share house type situation where he can live with Japanese students because is really working on his Japanese skills. Does anyone know if share housing like this exists in Kyoto? And if so, where to find more information?
Or, if anyone has stayed in any of the men's only dorms or unisex dorms, what was your experience like?
