Hi, I am the father of a 1.5 year old kiddo and I am trying to get him a mixed education,
with my wife being the Japanese native and me acting as the (sort of) English speaker.
I was thinking that on the mid term it would be nice to meet other parents with kids around the same age range and maybe have like a meetup of similar where we can have the kids play with each other and also use their English naturally, in a more relaxed and casual manner than what a usual Japanese "event" is.
First of all I would like to know how many people would be interested in joining in the near future, I was thinking about maybe going to a park and just hanging around casually, and if it works there can be picnics, bookings of a space to play with toys or board games, etc.
Any additional or alternative ideas are welcome too! I am also up for just stablishing contact on Reddit and just have a casual chat with other parents living around Kyoto. Cheers!
