Should I visit Osaka or spend extra time in Kyoto?

I’m arriving in Tokyo on the 7th of October leaving to Kyoto on the 14th. I had in mind go to Osaka on the 17th so I can take my flight from Kansai on the 19th, but I just found out I could take a train directly from Kyoto to the airport, and wouldn’t need to make a stop at Osaka.
The reason why I considered going to Osaka was because of the airport being more nearby.
I’m wondering if it’s worth still going to Osaka or not 🤔 cause looking at Kyoto there’s so much traditional culture to see, and Osaka seems like I will get a very similar experience than Tokyo. Thoughts? Thank you
