Using language school as the means to attaining an IT job

As far as I understand it, language school is one of the best ways to stay in Japan while I jobhunt. But since it's a very big stretch and requires a hefty sum of money, I'd like to get some stories and encouragement from you guys, because a failure would be carastrophic.

I have N2, I am a freshly graduated bachelor, and I have like 2 years of freelance in backend and flutter applications (there is a good big app written entirely by me and having commercial use), and 1 year of experience in a big IT corp as an L2 service support.

Can you, with the best accuracy you can, show the potential risks, chances, and paths from your experience? How likely that I'll be able to stay in Japan and not leave it after a year, defeated, lmao?
That would mean the world to me, thanks in advance!
