I come from Australia and have been living in osaka for a while. When i first tried a biscuit that had cheese, i got excited but one bite in and i almost barfed at the chemical taste (after taste?) . In Australia, we have cheese flavours like cheetos, cheese and chives flavoured chip which i love. Now about cheesecakes. I love rikuro cheese but with other cheesecakes I get this weird taste as mentioned before.
Im at this point where if anyone offers me anything cheese, i straight up deny it.
Let me ask, is this cheese flavour in japan an acquired taste? Or is just just chemicals and low quality.
