Hi all going to Japan this year from the 26th of October to the 6th of November! Was wondering if anyone might have any input into my current itinerary or suggestions based on what me and my partner are interested in ! So far we don't have so much "cultural" things planned for our trip and are trying to look into what would fit best into our likes.
Firstly does any one know any festivals on at this time that would be worth checking out?
Some of the things we love and are considering are a sake distillery tour, the suntory yamazaki whiskey tour near kyoto, going for matcha in uji or a tea ceremony, we really would of loved to go to the Takashi Murakami exhibit in Kyoto but unfortunately it is closed by the time we are go (Extremely upset by this), also considering an onsen or stay over night somewhere in any hotspring town depends what you guys recommend (However we have tattoos).
I think we are not the biggest on shrines and temples so we would probably rather limit this aspect for our trip ! We are pretty flexible and a lot of the dates and day plannings can be changed based on your suggestions but this is my current thinking for our trip:Land Friday 25th midnight at Haneda – Taxi to hotelÂ
