Looking for a Museum Job in Japan

Hi,

I (American, f, 30) am looking at moving to Japan in the future, but my background is in managing collections in Museums which is pretty specific. Where can I even begin to look for a museum or cultural sector type job in Japan? I know speaking Japanese will be a must and I'm working on it. But I am still lost on even where to start looking for a job that isn't an English teacher. I have 10 years in the museum/cultural field and don't really want to teach English for 1-2 years just to "network" and make connections with people in order to find a museum job back in my field.

Am I being too picky? Are there any American companies with branches in Japan that might have a cultural sector or something similar?
