I’m going to be studying abroad in Japan for a year, but I won’t be allowed to receive overseas remittance for 6 months. I’m in the US and might go with Japan Post Bank since it’s what’s recommended. But I’m really lost on how I would be able to put money into a Japanese bank without carrying a bunch of cash.
