So I’m 17M and here with my family, though we are kind of doing different stuff for the most part. I’ve been approached a few times and had some very short conversations but I think it would be fun to try and engage in events or some kind of gathering here. Biggest issue is that since I’m 17 I can’t strike up conversations in bars or anything like that and I’m wondering if there’s any places I should look for to try and socialize/make friends. I checked an app called meetup but i couldn’t find any events near me while I’m here.
