Does anyone have experience and any estimate how much demolition costs are for an old house in the Tokyo area? I'm looking at an older house on 80 sq M land / 80 sq M building. The building is also wooden and 2F built in the 70s.
I've seen some sources online saying about 27,000-50,000 JPY per tsubo for demolition and disposal which seems cheaper than I expected at 1.2M JPY on the high end. I'm not sure if that's correct.
The house will also require a road setback for new construction and would lose about 7 sq M of land. If anyone has experience on the additional construction costs for this it'd be great to hear about your experiences.
