I’m a senior in high school and I’ve been learning japanese independently on wanikani, duolingo, and genki 1 and 2 for the past year and a half. However, I haven’t had a formal class for it and I would like to take classes for it in college.
Is there a level (JPLT N1?) that I should try and reach before I start college in the fall? I’m still at a pretty elementary level.
(I’m going to umass amherst, so if anyone has any experience with their program that would be very helpful 🙏)
